Last month I posted a behind-the-scenes snippet called The Magic of Meeting Curt (a love story that took two decades to reach its happily ever after).
This month, I thought I’d share another glimpse into material that won’t be included in the GHOST WRITER book series though offers a unique take from Teacher regarding a personal issue.
However first, I’d like to offer my deepest sympathies to those affected by the L.A. wild fires. The scale of this loss is devastating. Please know you have support from our entire community, both here and in Spirit, as we hold you in our prayers for strength and healing.
To offer immediate aid, consider donating to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, which is helping affected families during this crisis.
During one of our weekly channeling sessions a few months ago, Teacher offered Curt some intriguing ideas regarding a personal health question. I found the insights to be thought-provoking and wondered if they might spark your interest too. I’d love to know your thoughts!
Teacher: Now then, I believe you have questions.
Curt: Yes. I’ve been having a skin rash, and it’s been about two and a half months, now, so it’s persistent. I was wondering if you could give some insight into what’s behind that.
Teacher: Your skin reacts to internal fluctuations within the glandular system. These fluctuations are triggered by messages from, specifically, the immune system. The immune system reads chemical information telling it that a certain embedded viral presence is activating. Now then, whether or not the activation occurs, the immune system sets itself up as quickly as possible with a defensive response. You have cycled through this response in previous times. However, the skin reaction has been minimal, even occurring under your conscious awareness. You may, at times, have thought you were feeling skin sensations due to particular weather, or presence of fabric, or some other external condition.
Bodies, as you are aware, often store for long periods biological remnants of viral infections. Interestingly, skin symptoms (the rash) you notice are its attempt to armor itself from harm. Inflammation and itchiness promote blood to the surface, readying the cells for both fortifying and transmitting chemicals to and away from the surface of the skin. So, this is an active response. Why, then, is the body—your body at this time—accelerating such a response? Again, it is interpreting signals the immune system is putting out. And why would your immune system be doing this at this time? Why would it be feeling vulnerability and the need to garner further support, strength, and security? Why might your body’s system believe itself to be in or nearing a vulnerable state? What causes this feeling of vulnerability? If you look around, you are not under attack. And so, what conjures this state? Where have you experienced a situation or situations which left you feeling vulnerable? And what is vulnerability? Is it uncertainty? What might be your answers?
Curt: Things that come to mind are the upcoming U.S. presidential election and the threat of losing democracy.
Teacher: There are your answers.
Curt: True. Just to close on that, the implication here is that once the election and all the uncertainty around it is over, then I would expect this skin condition to clear up.
Teacher: Perhaps, unless the outcome perpetuates uncertainty, which it may, one way or another.
Curt: Yeah, good point.
Teacher: I deliberately paint my answer in this way to show you that your own physical body is not unlike the body of your country. Your country is currently inflamed on its surface and your body is also. Overall, the inflamed portion of your skin is less than the totality of the skin. So, are you an accurate barometer of presidential elections? You are for yourself. The rash upon your skin, being positioned on the face in large part, is, again, an interesting illustration. The face is visible. The face is seen by you and others. Your body, taken as a whole, however, is much greater than the visible patches on the face. It is “in your face” so to speak, as are some of your individuals in this country.
Curt: Very interesting. This has been very helpful, thank you.
Teacher: You’re welcome. Good night.
Curt: Good night.
